2003.Apr.01 New Members of Radiation Laboratory are; Senior Sientist, Yasuyuki Akiba; Special Doctoral Fellows, Ryotaro Muto; Collaboration Scientists, Hiroki Sato; Contract Researcher, Hiroyuki Kano; Junior Research Assciates are, Takuma Horaguchi, Yoshinori Fukao, Hiromi, Okada, Takashi Hachiya, Hiroyoshi Yokota. New members of RBRC are Tetsufumi Hirano, Kensuke Okada, Osamu Jinnnouchi, Hisayuki Torii, Tsuguchika Tabaru and Taku Izubuchi.  
2002.Dec.01 New secretary Karen Sakuma has joined us, to cover the absence of Michiko Muroi
2002.Oct.01 Special Postdoctoral Fellow, Takahiro Kawabata, has left Radiation Lab to start his tenure position at CNS, University of Tokyo. Congratulation. 
2002.April. 01 Motobayashi Laboratory has started. Some of our activity will be transferred to the new laboratory now and then.
2002.April. 01 New people from this April and May are as follows ; Scientist Yuji Goto. Special Postdoctoral Fellows, Junji Tojo, Takahiro Kawabata (experiment) and Takashi Ikeda (RBRC theory), Contract Researchers, Akio Kiyomichi,  Kazumi Hasuko, Johann Heuser, Vladimir Rykov (experiment), Chiho Nonaka, and Kazutaka Sudo (theory).  Junior Research Associates; Manabu Togawa (experiment) and Yoshitaka Hatta (RBRC theory). Visiting Students; Yoshinori Fukao and Takuma Horaguchi. Last but not least, New Secretary Michiko Muroi.
2002.Mar. 31 We are grateful to people graduated from Radiation Laboratory and RBRC, Naohito Saito, Kazu Kurita, Yutaka Watanabe and Yoko Kishino. Hope their happy life in their new places. 
2002,Feb.01 Yoshie Ohtake joined Radiation Lab. She is a specialist of neutron interferometry
2002.Jan.07 New postdoc, Hiroaki Ohnishi has started his job with Radiation Lab 1st of January 2002, to work at CERN.
2002.Dec.17 Polarized protons are stored, accelerated at RHIC. Collisions are Observed
2001.Oct.21 Andreas Schaefer, prominent scientist in QCD theory, is visiting our lab. He is going to stay for 4 weeks starting from 21st of October. Lectures and mini workshop is being planned. Please join the activities. 
2002.Oct.01 New scientist, Kiyoshi Tanida, has joined our Laboratory, starting from 1st of October
2001.May.16 Application for Kiso-Tokken (Special Postdoctoral Researcher) is being open.  Please feel free to contact enyo@riken.go.jp. Application from theorists is also welcome.
2001.May.15 Prof. T. Motobayashi (Rikkyo-U) will be appointed as a Senior Visiting Scientist, to be a core of our efforts towards RIBF.  A collaborating team will be formed among physicists from U-Tokyo, Rikkyo-U and Radiation Laboratory. 
2001.April.01 Former chief scientist M. Ishihara has been appointed as a deputy head of RIBF.

2001.March.12 All the students with JSPS fellowship will be entitled as a RIKEN Visiting Researcher, not as a Student Trainee. Will  be valid from April 1st. Good News ! 
2001.March.08 New Postdoctoral Fellows will join Radiation Laboratory from 1st of April 2001, experimentalists Yutaka Mizoi (from U-Tokyo), Naoki Fukuda (from CNS U-Tokyo), Osamu Jinnouchi (from ICEPP U-Tokyo), Tsuguchika Tabaru (Kyoto-U), and theorist Masanori Hirai (from Saga-U). New fellow Brendan Fox has joined RBRC from 1st of March. Prof. T. Matsui (U-Tokyo) will be visiting us as a Senior Visiting Scientist, joining the theory group starting on April 1st.
2001.March.08 New students will be our member from March. At Wako  Megumi Naruki, Ryotaro Muto, Fuminori Sakuma, all from Kyoto University. Nobuyuki Kamihara (from TITech) will be resident at BNL.  Junior Research Associate Hiroki D. Sato will start his new carrier as a JSPS fellow from April 1st (good for 2 years).
